Spiders Lacrosse Welcomes Scott Thompson to the Coaching Staff

Spiders Lacrosse Club is excited to welcome Scott Thompson to the coaching staff.

Thompson brings over two decades of playing and coaching experience, with a strong background in developing defensive players and building youth lacrosse programs. He currently serves as the Middle School Head Coach for Jackson Youth Lacrosse, a role he has held since 2022, and will also serve as Co-Youth Director beginning in 2026, helping guide program development and player growth.

As a player, Thompson earned All-Ohio Defense honors in 2000 and 2001 with Mariemont Club Lacrosse, and again in 2002 with Lakota Club Lacrosse. He continued his career at the Rochester Institute of Technology, playing from 2002–2004 before serving as a player, captain, and coach for the RIT Club Team from 2005–2006.

With extensive experience both on the field and on the sidelines, Thompson brings leadership, defensive expertise, and a passion for developing young athletes to the Spiders Lacrosse program.
