Spiders Lacrosse Welcomes Jonathan Paulus to the Coaching Staff

Welcome to the Spiders family, Coach Jonathan Paulus!

Coach Paulus brings championship experience, elite faceoff expertise, and an enthusiasm for player development to the Spiders coaching staff.

A standout faceoff specialist at Lenoir-Rhyne University, Coach Paulus was part of one of the top Division II programs in the country, helping the Bears capture the 2023 NCAA Division II National Championship while appearing in three national championship games throughout his collegiate career. He finished with a 58% career faceoff win percentage, took over 775 faceoffs, and recorded 244 ground balls while helping lead Lenoir-Rhyne to multiple South Atlantic Conference championships.

Coach Paulus currently serves as the Ohio Director for The Faceoff Academy and spent two seasons as a volunteer faceoff coach at Lenoir-Rhyne. His technical expertise, teaching ability, and passion for developing athletes make him an outstanding addition to the Spiders coaching staff.
