Spiders Lacrosse Welcomes Coach Alek Kungle

Spiders Lacrosse Club is excited to welcome Coach Alek Kungle to our staff!

Alek is an Ohio native and the current Head Coach at Cuyahoga Valley Christian Academy, bringing a strong blend of high-level playing experience and proven success in developing athletes across Northeast Ohio.

Playing Experience

Kungle was a standout at Lake High School, earning All-Region honors in 2015 and 2017 before continuing his collegiate career at the University of Mount Union (2017–2022).
During his time with the Purple Raiders, he became one of the most productive offensive players in program history, earning:

Following graduation, Alek transitioned directly into coaching and has built an impressive resume at both the college and high school levels:

Kungle is known for his player-first approach, deep understanding of both sides of the ball, and his ability to elevate skill development within offensive systems. His background as a collegiate record-setter and multi-phase coordinator brings tremendous value to the Spiders staff and the athletes he will be working with.
