Spiders Lacrosse Welcomes Aidan Martinez to the Coaching Staff

Spiders Lacrosse is excited to welcome Aidan Martinez as the newest addition to our coaching staff.

Aidan brings a strong playing and coaching background rooted in leadership, consistency, and defensive excellence. A four-year starter at Olmsted Falls High School, he served as a team captain his senior year while playing attack, giving him a strong understanding of offensive concepts and game flow.

He continued his lacrosse career at Walsh University from 2020–2024, where he played in every game of his collegiate career and was selected as a two-time team captain during his junior and senior seasons. Transitioning to a defensive midfielder role at the college level, Aidan became known for his work ethic, communication, and ability to lead from the middle of the field.

Following his playing career, Aidan shifted seamlessly into coaching. He served as an assistant coach and defensive coordinator with Aviator Lacrosse Club from 2023–2024 before being named head coach in 2025. He currently serves as a graduate assistant coach at Walsh University, continuing to develop players at a high level while expanding his coaching impact.

Aidan’s experience as both a player and defensive coach makes him a valuable resource for Spiders athletes. His attention to detail, leadership background, and passion for teaching the game align perfectly with our mission of long-term player development.
